Learn how to generate a savings report for each resource optimized using Uniskai's features

Updated over a week ago

The Savings feature offers a comprehensive report on savings for each resource that has been optimized through Uniskai features. Our platform provides an excellent opportunity to bundle savings options for specific resources, maximizing the benefits of such actions.

When you access the Savings section, you'll find a list of all the resources managed by Uniskai. Here, you can view the expected and current prices, the service used for optimizing cloud usage, the amount saved in currency, and the total savings percentage highlighted in green.

Also, you can view the total saved amount in the lower right corner. The number of resources by type is displayed below.

Choose your desired date period from the calendar.

Use the slider to view your savings for a particular service or all services.

You can also use filters, a search field, and sort by any column except 'Saved with' and 'Actions' for your convenience.

Click on the icons in the 'Saved with' column to access more information.

When you click on 'History,' you can dive into more detailed information about how your savings were implemented, either on a daily basis or within a month.

You can also select your desired date from the calendar.

In the top-left corner, you can monitor how many days and hours Uniskai has managed your resources since the first activity. Moreover, you'll find information on the total money saved since the first activity and the current savings for the selected period on the chart. You also have the option to export this table to Excel

Below the chart, you can see Events that display when cost-saving features were actually effective.

For example, 'Cloudsitter Start' indicates that this service is active and saving money for the user. When 'Cloudsitter' is stopped, no money is saved during that period

The 'Spot' feature indicates that the resource price will vary, and this will be reflected on the chart in orange.

If there are too many events to display, you can click on the 'Load more' button to load additional events
