Learn how to easily access your savings and activity all in one place

Updated over a week ago

The Reports feature provides customizable widgets that give you key insights into your savings and activity in a single location. You can choose to view default reports or tailor them to your preferences to maximize your savings with Uniskai.

To get started, simply open the Reports section, where you'll find four default widgets. These widgets display information about your regions, overall billing, Paid vs. Savings, credit spending, cloud costs by provider, your recommended savings, cloud usage (AWS, GCP, Azure), and your current savings.

Reports are displayed for accounts within an organization.

Here's a closer look at the default widgets:

Paid & Savings

The Paid vs. Savings table shows the total amount you've paid since the creation of your account. It also provides monthly and estimated billing information based on Uniskai's predictions for the current month.

Your Regions

Your resources fall into four categories: active (currently in use and billed), non-active (idle and not billed), semi-active (billed but not in use and can be optimized), and sustainable (resources in environmentally friendly data centres). You can explore a map of active and non-active regions by adjusting the slider in the top right.

Billing Summary

The Billing Summary pie chart, located to the right of the map, visually represents all cloud costs. Each region is colour-coded, and hovering over a colour reveals your expenses and estimated costs. You can toggle the estimation feature by adjusting the slider in the top right. You can also choose from three time periods to examine the Billing Summary: (from the first to the last day of the previous month), this month (consumed and estimated expenses as of today), or the last thirty days (a thirty-day period, not including the present day).

Credits Spending

Below the Billing Summary, you'll find a table detailing the total credits spent, provided by AWS, since your account's creation.

Cloud Usage

The Cloud Usage table displays the number and location of resources in your infrastructure. For instance, it might show that you have 42 EC2 instances and reveal their respective regions when you hover over them.
