Learn how to handle your accounts in Uniskai

Updated over a week ago

Within the Account Manager, you can access all of your accounts linked to Uniskai.

To add a new account, simply click the ‘Add new account’ button.

Please refer to the guide within this article for instructions on adding a new environment.

In this tab, you'll find general information about all the accounts within the selected organization. You can sort the accounts by name, ID, access connection, and status. When you hover over an ID, you can copy it by clicking the corresponding button.

The ‘Details’ button opens up the settings. The next button redirects you to the Dashboard, and the last one, when clicked, reveals a drop-down list that enables you to move the account to another organization if you are the owner of the current organization.

If you only want to view accounts from a specific provider on this tab, select the tab and view only the necessary accounts.

Within the Account Manager, you can view the details of each account and make changes.

To access the details, simply click on the desired account.

You can modify the name of your account in the settings by clicking on the name field, entering a new name, and then confirming the changes.

The details window displays general information about your account, including the account name, type (specifically your cloud provider), account ID, connection, IAM user, access, and action menu.

If you need to update your credentials, click on the ‘Actions’ button and choose the ‘Update arn-role’ option.

If required, you can switch the access level to read/write or read-only. To do this, click on the ‘Switch to read/write’ or ‘Switch to read-only’ button and confirm the action in the pop-up window that appears.

So, please proceed with the instructions on the new tab.

If you need to disconnect your account, click on the ‘Actions’ button and select the ‘More’ option.

Next, click on the ‘Disconnect account’ button.

Confirm the account disconnection in the new window.

If you require an API key, you can generate one on the following tab.

After completing this action, you'll be able to view the API key and its general information. For more details, refer to the manual on that tab.

On the next tab, you can connect alerts using a webhook, a simple and effective method for linking alerts to your system. Instead of periodically polling the API for new data, a webhook allows you to receive real-time updates as soon as data changes in Uniskai. You can also connect to Slack.

Read further on how to set up these connections here.
