How to invite a user with Read-only role


Navigate to Team Management in the left menu and access the Roles Management tab. Note: only admins and owners have access.

Click the + Add Role button.

You will see the role creation page.

Fill in the Create name field with a custom name.

Press the Next step button.

The next step is to set the parameters for your role.

Define the level at which the policy will apply. You can choose between an account set (a group of accounts) or a single account, depending on your requirements.

Specify the account/accounts group to which the policy will be applied.

Define the platform features that the assigned role will have access to. These permissions control what users can see on the platform. For read-only access, use view-only permissions.

Select the checkboxes next to the permissions you would like to add to the role. You can use the All button to select all permissions in the list.

You can define multiple permissions for one role by clicking the +Add Permissions button.

Press the Next step button.

The next step is to add a role to the user or users.

Note: If the user is not yet a team member, skip this step and continue with the instructions further down the page

To select a user, simply click on the checkbox next to them, and you can also select multiple users. For convenience, you can also use the search function, and the previous user's selection will not be lost. This step is optional.

Press the Next step button.

In this step, you can add a role to a specific group (system or custom). The first three groups are default and cannot be deleted or edited. This step is optional.

To add a role to a group, you need to click the checkbox next to it, you can select several at once, and use the search, similar to the previous step of adding a user.

Press the Next step button.

The next step is to view all the applied settings, added users and groups. Carefully check that everything has been selected according to your purposes.

Once you are satisfied that everything is in order, click on the Create button.

Once the role is successfully created, you'll see a notification like this:

Now let's move on to inviting a new user with a read-only role. Go to the User management tab.

Click on the + Invite User button.

Enter the user's email in the field Type Email.

You can add several users at once by clicking the add email button as many times as you want to invite.

Now let's move on to assigning the role to the user, using the search, find the role you created with read-only access and click on the checkbox next to it.

Optionally, to add the user to a custom group, select the corresponding checkbox.

When everything is ready, click on the Send Invitation button.

You will see a notification like this if the invitation was sent successfully.

Congratulations, everything is ready, you have invited a user with read-only permissions!

How to invite a user with a Read/Write role

Now let's move on to inviting a new user with a read-write role. Go to the User management tab.

Click on the + Invite User button.

Enter the user's email in the field Type Email.

You can add several users at once by clicking the add email button as many times as you want to invite.

Now let's move on to assigning a role to the user. You need to assign the role of Administrator (system) so that the user has full read/write access for all accounts. This role is at the top of the list by default. Click on the checkbox next to this role.

Optionally, to add the user to a custom group, select the checkbox.

When everything is ready, click on the Send Invitation button.

You will see a notification like this if the invitation was sent successfully.

Congratulations, everything is ready, you have invited a user with Read/Write permissions for all accounts.
